Benito Grimaudo
Nearly 20 years of experience investing in and advising energy & infrastructure projects in 15 African countries, with more than $3B of executed project value across the continent. Founding Executive of ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund; a $250M closed-end African infrastructure fund. Prior experience with Africa-focused investment firms and DFIs: EAIF, responsAbility, IFC, and AfDB. Experience at E & Y and McKinsey. MBA in Finance and Accounting, Sawyer Business School

Director of Capital Formation
Dan Peck
Nearly 18 years of experience across finance, strategy, and social impact investing, with a strong focus on directing capital towards high-impact, outcomes-driven initiatives across the US, UK, and East Africa. Prior to joining Fortis Green, spent over 11 years working at the intersection of social impact investing and public policy, mobilising both public and private capital for innovative social programmes. Earlier in his career, worked as a management consultant with Kearney in London, advising European clients on strategic and operational initiatives, and began his career as an investment banker with Lazard in New York, contributing to over $32 billion in recapitalisation and private placement transactions during the 2008 Financial Crisis. Holds an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Economics and History (magna cum laude) from Vanderbilt University. Serves on the boards of Homes for Good, a Scotland-based social housing provider, and BeesAbroad, a British-African social impact organisation supporting beekeeping enterprises across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Communication & Capital Analyst
Benita Keza
Communications and Capital Analyst at Fortis Green Renewables, with over five years of experience in strategic communication and partnership management across international markets. Previously engaged with the Rwandan Mission to the UN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the CHOGM Secretariat, developing narratives and strategies that drive impact and stakeholder engagement. BA in International Affairs, Transylvania University.

Investment Analyst
Ferdinand Turatsinze
5 years experience in consulting and renewable energy investments across the US and sub-Saharan Africa, with expertise in technology assessment, market evaluation, and financial analysis. Former consultant with Deloitte and the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute, advising on industry, political, and economic trends as well as financial and market analysis. At Fortis Green Renewables, leads research and financial modeling, supports due diligence through site, legal, and technical reviews, and oversees portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, and partner engagement. Master’s in Business and Innovation, University of Notre Dame; Bachelor’s, University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Fabrice Mukarage
3 years experience in data systems and analytics, IT development, and technical solution implementation across multiple domains. Responsible for data management and analysis, software development, and IT solutions across Fortis Green Renewables. Master’s in Information Technology (IT Entrepreneurship & Research Track), Carnegie Mellon University Africa; Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Ashesi University.

Director at Fortis Green Renewables, providing flexible capital to small-scale renewable energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, addressing the equity gap for electrification. Over 27 years of senior executive experience in financial services, including leadership roles at CNL, where he helped form and capitalize 9 REITs, 1 BDC, and multiple alternative investment funds totaling over $25B in assets. MBA, Crummer School of Business at Rollins College; BA in Psychology and Biblical Studies, Wheaton College. Co-Founder & Chairman of Fortis Green, developing renewable energy and large-scale housing projects across the continent. CEO of Spraggins Inc., a diversified construction supply group. Former CPA with Arthur Andersen. BS in Accounting, Auburn University.
